Bananas!

After the scorching week we've had, it is a lovely, rainy, sorta gloomy saturday in NoVa.  It scrubbed my weekly "Saturday tradition" of laying out at the pool, but this kind of day was just what we needed!  After a morning of sleeping in and catching up on some work, Aaron & I ran a few errands.  First we went to Office Depot to reload on supplies...with a rewards giftcard...then we went to Starbucks...with our free-drink coupon...then we went hit up the new Walgreens on the corner to pick up a perscription...couponless. 

However, in keeping with the other frugal-shopping stops on our journey, the lady at the cashier handed us a $25 gift card just for filling perscriptions at their new store...an unexpected surprise!  So we did what any other impulsive shoppers would do and we bought the Bananagrams game that we had previously talked ourselves out of as we passed it on an earlier aisle.  When we left Walgreens, we went home to have some rainy day fun!
