Until now.
It's called Fro Zen Yo in it's on F street NW somewhere between 10th and 12th (don't ask exactly where, our whereabouts were distracted by the presence of a nearby H&M.)
You walk in...you grab a cup...you fill it up with the amount of frozen yogurt you want (there were about15 flavors and multiple "swirl" combinations! a frozen yogurt dreamworld!)...add your toppings...and pay by the ounce. And for a DC venue, it was pretty cheap! (I forsee weekend fro yo cravings initiating frequent 15 mile trips into the city...uh oh).
Here's a little "taste" of the topping bar... You name it. They had it.
The best part about this little discovery was that it was with my good friend from college, Lorin...or "bad influence", as Aaron calls her...but not really...we were only slightly mischeiveous together from time to time ;) And she was visiting because she is hoping to move to DC. Yay! As I like to say: another one bites the dust!
Here we are:
Anyway...DCers, you gotta try! And family/friends back home...you can bet that this will be a new "landmark" that I take you to when you come to visit!
It may not be the namesake of TCBY, but it can fly as TCBY anyway, because it was definitely this city's best yogurt! yum yum
For all who are wondering, we are so blessed and excited for all that this month brings!

ReplyDeleteAJ & Lianne took us to such a place (maybe not the same name, not sure) when we were in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. It was excellent! If they put one in the ATL I could see having to run off another 10 pounds! Thanks for the posts as it is great to be able to "keep up" with you guys. See you later! Dean
